This custom made EVISU jacket comes in 11oz raw Japanese selvedge denim, unwashed for a slightly stiff hand feel. The denim is sanforized, meaning that it has been pretreated to reduce the shrink rate of the raw denim when washed. Raw Denim is best when worn for at least six months before washing giving you sharper fades. This way you start off with a blank canvas ready to personalize by creating your own unique natural whiskering, creases and abrasions. If this isn't for you and you prefer a softer hand feel, just give the jacket a quick hand wash in cold water to keep it fairly dark and hang dry before wearing.
